Workplace Climate Survey Provides Platform for Faculty/Staff Feedback

All UHD employees should have received a link via email this week to the UHD Workplace Climate Survey. As University president Bill Flores stated, the workplace evaluation is essential "to build and maintain a thriving and successful University, and one which provides motivation and satisfaction."

This anonymous, web-based survey, facilitated by PS Consulting, will allow participants to assess the strengths and opportunities of UHD as a workplace, and to make suggestions for improvement. President Flores has made a commitment to be transparent about the survey results and about the plans to address them over time.

The Workplace Climate Survey will close Friday, Nov. 7 at 5 p.m.; participants should complete the survey by the deadline using their unique URL sent by PS Consulting.

All participants will be entered into a weekly raffle in which they will be eligible to win one of four $25 gift cards and 2 iPad tablets. A high-level summary of survey responses will be presented at four faculty/staff sessions, scheduled in the White Oak Room (A300) as follows:

Faculty Sessions:

Thursday, Nov. 18, 1:30 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 20, 3:30 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Staff Sessions:

Thursday, Nov. 19, 3:30 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 20, 1:30 p.m. - 3 pm.

Sessions will be recorded for those who are unable to attend.

Participants can contact Philippa Strelitz, owner of PS Consulting, with any questions or concerns.
