Voters' Questions To Be Addressed in Oct. 15 Virtual Meeting

Voting BoothDuring this election season, it's natural for voters to have questions. In the spirit of making voting easy and accessible to all members of the Gator community, University of Houston-Downtown's Center for Diversity and Inclusion has welcomed Roxanne Werner as a special guest speaker for "Your Voting Questions Answered."

As the director of community relations for the Harris County clerk's office, she will speak during a virtual meeting related to the 2020 election. During the discussion, Werner will address questions surrounding topics like early voting, mail-in voting, drive-through voting, and worries about voter fraud. This is a chance to ask any additional voting-related questions, as well. Bring thoughts and concerns to the meeting, and expect to take part in a robust conversation about the election season.

"Your Voting Questions Answered" takes place Thursday, Oct. 15 from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. via Zoom. Check Gator mail for a zoom address and password, or email John Hudson, director of the Center for Diversity and Inclusion, at hudsonj@uhd.edu. Registration information is also available online.
