Did you know that UHD doesn't have a trademarked Gator? It's time for the UHD community to vote on a Gator logo for the University.

For one week only, from March 17-21, you can cast your vote for UHD's future Ed-U-Gator!

To create the new mascot, a professional illustrator collaborated with constituent groups on campus, including students, faculty and staff, regarding the Gator's look and feel. The illustrator used the groups' comments and suggestions as guidelines to shape the Gator and revised the images several times based on their feedback. The results are the two gators shown—so be sure to vote for your favorite no later than March 21!

Vote for your preferred image at www.uhd.edu/gatorvote. The winning image will be revealed at Culture on the Bayou, April 9 at noon on the South Deck.

Voters may only submit one vote.
