Faculty and staff are needed to help the University welcome students to the fall 2014 semester. Volunteers are needed from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. August 25 and 26.

Some locations (One Main Building, Academic Building, Shea Street Building, Commerce Street Building) are very popular. Requests for these will be handled on a "first-come, first-served" basis. You might be placed at a location you did not request, but you will not be moved to another time slot without first being asked.

Welcome Week training sessions for volunteers will be from 2-3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20. Volunteer t-shirts will be distributed at the event, but all volunteers are asked to wear a UHD shirt.

Also, the Welcome Week Committee will take any UHD items that department or areas can donate as part of the Welcome Week giveaways. Items can be dropped off or the committee can pick them up. To make a donation, please contact Vanessa Camarena at camarenav@uhd.edu.
