Volunteer for Ed's Bayou Clean Up, April 15
Consider volunteering for this year's Ed's Bayou Clean Up, a University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) signature volunteer event, held on Friday, April 15. The Clean Up is an opportunity for students, faculty and staff to work together to beautify and clean Buffalo Bayou. Those interested should meet at the Student Life Center at 9 a.m. Volunteers will enjoy food, music and fun while they make a positive impact on the downtown community.
Helpful tips:
- Grabbers, plastic bags and gloves will be provided or you may bring your own
- Long sleeves and long pants are required to avoid contact with poison ivy, poison oak and thorns
- Closed-toed shoes are required
- Bring your own water bottles
Volunteers are encouraged to wear Ed's Bayou Clean Up shirts from previous years, student organization shirts or UHD shirts.
