Dear UHD Students, Faculty and Staff,

I am happy to announce that on this upcoming Monday, April 12, our sister university, the University of Houston, and Memorial Hermann have approximately 3,000 Pfizer vaccines available to UHD students, faculty and staff.

This vaccination opportunity is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the UH Football Indoor Practice Facility, located at 3820 Holman Street.

You must register for the vaccinations online. Once an appointment is made, you will be contacted by Memorial Hermann via email with an invitation (coming from MHVaccination@MemorialHermann.org) to schedule your appointment. Appointments will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and walk-ins will not be accommodated.

All students, faculty and staff are expected to comply with UH's COVID-19 protocols for face coverings and COVID-19 diagnosis/symptoms at all times while on campus. If you have questions about the COVID-19 vaccines, we encourage you to visit www.MemorialHermann.org/covid19vaccine for more information.

If you have not already been vaccinated, I encourage you to receive the #ShotOfHope from Memorial Hermann on this upcoming Monday to help ensure Greater Houston and UHD stay as healthy and protected as possible.

Sincerely,

Loren J. Blanchard, Ph.D.
