The University of Houston-Downtown will remain closed through Aug. 30. All academic and administrative functions are canceled. Classes at UHD Northwest, Lone Star College-Kingwood and Lone Star College-CyFair also are canceled. The university will continue to monitor weather conditions and make further adjustments to operations as conditions warrant.

The last day to add classes, originally Aug. 25, has been extended through Wednesday, Aug. 30.
