Upcoming Recruiting Sessions Hosted by Career Development Center

Two upstanding companies will be recruiting on campus in the coming weeks.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston will have recruiters at a table near the food court, Tuesday, Nov. 19, and Tuesday, Dec. 3, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. to recruit for a variety of part-time youth development positions.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston operates 10 Clubs around the Houston area, offering after-school programs for youth ages 6 to 17. Based on the interest of their members, they offer activities that center around three core program areas: academic success, healthy lifestyles, and good character and citizenship. The specific activities they offer include homework assistance, career and college prep, intramural sports leagues, daily physical activities, game room activities and tournaments and many more.

A recruiter from Accenture, management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company, will conduct information sessions, Monday, Nov. 18, at 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. in B217, the Shea Street Building. Please stop by and attend one of the sessions to hear about the company and various career opportunities. Accenture is interested in accounting, general business, management, administration and geosciences majors.
