The University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) community is invited to a reading by Piotr Florczyk on Wednesday, April 6, from 6-8 p.m. in the O'Kane Gallery. The event is hosted by Mark Cervenka, professor and director of the O'Kane Gallery, and Robin Davidson, professor and Houston poet laureate.

Poet, translator, and founding member of Calypso Editions, Florczyk, is the featured reader in collaboration with student contributors to the UHD literary magazine, The Bayou Review.

The event is sponsored by The Bayou Review and Jane Creighton, professor and director of the UHD Cultural Enrichment Center.
