The University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) dragon boat team will compete in the 2016 Gulf Coast International Dragon Boat Regatta on Saturday and Sunday, October 8-9 at Brooks Lake at Fluor, 1 Fluor Daniel Drive, Sugarland.

In addition to dragon boat races and stand-up paddle board sprints, there will be pan-Asian cultural performances, arts and crafts and cuisine.

Admission is free for spectators. Food vendors and entertainment will be provided from local groups.
