The University of Houston-Downtown's Student Government Association, on behalf of the Gator Community, welcomed President Blanchard in his new role via a YouTube video. In the video, members expressed their affinity for the University, the many opportunities afforded to them by UHD, and their well wishes as President Blanchard takes the helm. 

The message captures the Gator Grit and spirit that lives within each UHD student and is a prelude to the energy UHD will provide President Blanchard as he leads the University toward a bold future.
