UHD President Loren J. Blanchard

This week, the University welcomes President Loren J. Blanchard to the Gator Family. A veteran administrator and educator, President Blanchard brings significant experience to the institution, as well as a passion for higher education. He also arrives with a familiarity and fondness for Houston and the surrounding region.

UHD students, faculty and staff can meet President Blanchard virtually during a special Welcome Reception on March 31. Likewise, the community can join him and other UHD and UH System leaders on March 24 during the virtual UHD Day at the Capitol.
