UHD High Art Exhibition, 2022: May 14-21
The O’Kane Gallery is hosting its annual exhibition of art by Houston area high school students. This year’s show, the first since the beginning of the pandemic, features more than 20 high schools and 100 works of art. An opening reception will be held 2 - 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 14. College of Humanities & Social Sciences Retirement Banquet
The College of Humanities & Social Sciences will honor their retirees during their Retirement Banquet from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 17, in the Milam and Travis Rooms in the Welcome Center. In addition, the event will be streamed via Zoom. 

Transfer Thursday Event:  May 19
UHD is hosting its Transfer Thursday event from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Welcome Center, as well UHD’s Northwest and Kingwood campuses. RSVP is required. Transfer Thursday is for students who are transferring to UHD from another college or university. During the event, prospective students will learn more about the admissions process and receive one-on-one assistance with their application for admission and enrollment. Sports & Fitness Awards Banquet: Saturday, May 21
The 25th annual Sports & Fitness Awards Banquet will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the Special Event Center, Academic Building, Room A300. This event recognizes participants for outstanding involvement and contributions to the program. Participants from intramural sports, club sports, and the various fitness programs will be recognized by students, faculty, staff, family, and friends. For more information, visit the Sports & Fitness website.
