The UHD women's volleyball club team (4-1) faced off versus undefeated Houston Community College (HCC) Southwest on Wednesday night in the Student Life Center. The UHD Homecoming Volleyball Game was also a rematch of the 2014 Lone Star College Sport Club Conference (LSSCC) championship match in which UHD pulled a win.

The Gators defeated HCC Southwest 25-23, 25-18, 23-25, and 25-23 and are now tied for first place atop the Lone Star Sport Club Conference. The UHD women's volleyball club team finishes the regular season on Oct. 28 by hosting North American University in the Student Life Center. The LSSCC playoff tournament will be held on Sunday, Nov. 1 at 10 a.m. in the UHD Student Life Center.
