UHD to Host 'Through Students' Eyes' Presentation, April 20

Wednesday, April 20, University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) will host George Mason University Professor Kristen Zenkov. Zenkov will deliver a presentation from 1-2:30 p.m. in the Robertson Auditorium. The presentation, entitled, "Through Students' Eyes," focuses on youth perspectives of traditional schooling.

Founded in 2004, Through Students' Eyes is a project that works with high school and middle school students to address key questions using photographs and written reflections. The project examines student views on the purposes of school, why youth go to and stay in school, what helps them succeed and what gets in the way of educational success.

The event is presented by the Center for Public Service and Family Strengths. Everyone is welcome and registration is not required.
