UHD to Host Student Organization Leadership Development Conference
The UHD Office of Student Activities will host the Student Organization Leadership Development (SOLD) conference from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 23 in the One Main Building's Cullen Auditorium, and from 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Sept. 24 at the Houston Food Bank, 535 Portwall St.
The SOLD conference is a two-day comprehensive experience created for student leaders of registered student organizations. It will feature keynote speakers, educational workshops and breakout sessions that focus on practical skills related to student organization management and leadership development.
As an incentive, the organization that brings the most attendees for the entire conference will win $300 worth of T-shirts for their group from the Office of Student Activities.
