Team Effort: UHD Tele-Recruiting Event Reaches 1,000+ Students

Enrollment Management led the UHD campus community in contacting more than 1,000 students to help with course registration through a Tele-Recruiting event Wednesday, Aug. 10.

More than 55 faculty and staff, including College deans, senior leadership, and members of the President’s Cabinet, made personal phone calls to students who had not yet registered for classes, including new freshman, transfer students, and continuing undergraduates. Participants were provided a telephone script to communicate with students, and subject matter experts were on hand to support every phone call.

“It takes the entire campus to rally behind each student and ensure they have everything they need to be successful for the Fall. We will monitor the impact of the calling campaign over the next few days. We are proud that we were able to reach every freshman applicant and ensure that they received a personal experience with UHD,” said Dr. Daniel Villanueva Jr., Vice President of Enrollment Management. “I want to send a special thanks to everyone from the campus community who took time to ensure UHD meets our enrollment goal."

Enrollment Management is continuing to partner with the campus community on efforts to reach UHD’s goal of having 15,500 enrolled students for Fall 2022. Stay tuned for more ways you can help!
