The 13th Annual Dragon Boat Festival is scheduled from 8:30 a.m to 4:30 p.m. May 4 at Allen's Landing in downtown Houston and the UHD team is still accepting student paddlers!

To reserve your spot on UHD's boat "The Flying Dragon," email team captain Blanca Garza at Bcgarza316@gmail.com. Participants must sign a waiver and attend the practice, which will be held at 2 p.m. April 27 at Clear Lake Park, 5001 NASA Pkwy, Seabrook, TX, 77586. The team will launch the boats at the public boat launch on the south side of NASA Parkway and paddle into Mud Lake.

Those not interested in participating in the race can attend the festival activities! You can expect colorful cultural performances, educational booths, yummy food and fun games for the whole family.
