UHD Students Participate in Fashion Show on Campus
The UHD Career Development Center teamed up with Banana Republic Galleria to coordinate and execute the Dress to Impress Fashion Show on Feb. 18 in the Special Events Room, A300. The event educated students on what to wear and what not to wear at a job interview.
Five student models graced the runway with Banana Republic styles that included both business casual and business professional attire. The audience cheered as each model came down the runway, as students recognized their classmates, friends and more.
The following students participated in the fashion show:
- Deborah Dress
- Desiree Fletcher
- Nickey Frampton
- Juan Sanchez
- Kevin Valle
Attendees included Banana Republic Representatives Donna Kelley, general manager; Neil Gordon, customer service manager; and Cori La Bauve, merchandise presentation supervisor. The event was coordinator by Sara Joyner, employer relations coordinator of the Career Development Center.
