UHD Students Honored at International Forum

UHD students Ever Flores and Kevin Malka were recognized last month during the ESPEME International Forum in France for creating the best university information stand.

ESPEME is the undergraduate business program of the Edhec Business School in Lille, Nice and Paris.

During the forum, ESPEME students who went on exchange last year and international students currently on exchange with ESPEME during the Fall 2013/14 come together to be the ambassadors of their countries and universities by preparing an information table to represent their institutions.

In total, 87 universities from across the globe were represented and over 450 students visited the stands to speak to the ambassadors directly about their destination of interest.

Flores and Malka were recognized as having the best information table, thanks in part to the UHD Office of Admissions for sending promotional items.

"We have very much enjoyed welcoming Mr. Flores and Mr. Malka to ESPEME this fall, and look forward to welcoming more students from the University of Houston-Downtown in the future," said Andrea Butterwick from ESPEME.
