The University of Houston-Downtown has a longstanding partnership with Downtown neighbor Saint Arnold Brewing Company on variety of events and initiatives.

The latest collaboration reunites Houston's second largest University with Texas' oldest craft brewery for the Art Car IPA 5K, 7 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 7 at Saint Arnold Brewing Company (2000 Lyons Ave). The race begins at 8:30 a.m.

Live music, food and beverages will be available for runners, as well as spectators.

Registration is still open for the event (which makes it grand return following a hiatus in 2020). Runner packets are available for pick-up on Saturday, Nov. 6 at UHD's Jesse H. Jones Student Life Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The race is not offering packet pick-ups on race day.

Race day parking will be provided by the University at the Daly Lot (501 N. Main Street). Rrunners/specators are invited to warm up for the big race with a one-mile walk to Saint Arnold.
