Dear UHD Community,

The World Series will be played just blocks from our campus, and I encourage all of you to show your support of our home team by wearing work-appropriate Astros gear to campus tomorrow.

The Astros’ performance throughout the regular season and playoffs has been nothing short of inspiring. Now, the team is in the position to earn history by becoming the state’s first World Series champions.

Since arriving in Houston, I’ve grown to admire the spirit and tenacity of this team. I know many of you are also inspired by our Astros, and I hope to see plenty of orange and blue tomorrow. Go Astros!
