UHD Preparing For Upcoming Dragon Boat Race
Recently, the University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) Dragon Boat team took third place (community division) in the 15th Annual Gulf Coast International Dragon Boat Regatta at Brooks Lake in Sugar Land.
The 12-member team, comprised of UHD students, faculty staff and alumni, has competed since 2011.
The team is preparing for its next race on Saturday, Nov. 3 at the San Antonio Dragon Boat Festival.
