Public Radio International mentioned the University of Houston-Downtown in a story on the “caste system” in America.

The Paper featured UHD student Selena Perez in an article about the University’s partnership with Lone Star College.

Arts & Culture Texas Magazine mentioned UHD as one of the site of the REELpoetry Film Festival.

Dr. Felicia Harris, assistant professor of communication studies, wrote an article on her book club meeting Michelle Obama for the Huffington Post. The article also ran on MSN.com and Yahoo.com.

FOX26’s Isiah Factor featured UHD’s Tremaine Kwasikpui, director of Student Activities, and student Pablo Cubillos about the Food Scholarship Program.
