Members of the University of Houston-Downtown community were featured in the following news articles and broadcast segments:

Outsmart magazine featured the Texas Senate District 6 debates (hosted at UHD).

Houston Public Media interviewed Dr. Lucas Logan, assistant professor of communication studies, regarding the popularity of electronic dance music and its lack of radio airplay.
