UHD In The News: Week of Aug. 13

Members of the University of Houston-Downtown community were featured in the following broadcast segments and news articles.

Dr. DoVeanna Fulton, dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, and Dr. Chris Birchak, former dean of the University College, were featured in Wayne State University's Alumni News.

The University of Houston-Downtown was featured in a Houston Chronicle article on the Gator mascot. 

Dr. Creshema Murray was interviewed about Starbucks anti-bias training on FOX26’s “Isiah Factor.”

Dr. Kevin Buckler was featured in a Houston Matters segment on unusual crime solving methods.

Alumna Ieshia Champs was featured in the HISD Blog.

Dr. Rebecca Pfeffer was interviewed about human trafficking on Houston Matters.
