UHD in the News: April 18, 2013

Peter Li, associate professor of social sciences, was recently interviewed by the Huffington Post - Canada, on his research paper, "Rehabilitating Rescued Chinese Farm Bears." In the paper, Li recounts the plight of Asiatic Bears in China that are farmed for their bile juice -- a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) -- alleged to fight fever, cleanse the liver and improve vision.
