UHD In The News: Week of May 6

University of Houston-Downtown Community members were featured in the following news items:

UHD's Lab for Financial Coaching & Economic Stability was featured on FOX26’s “The Isiah Factor.” 

Dr. Vida Robertson, Director of UHD’s Center for Critical Race Studies, was interviewed on racism as a health threat on FOX26’s “The Isiah Factor."

UHD was mentioned in a Houston Chronicle article on Downtown businesses recovering following the pandemic. 

UHD Adjunct Lecturer Melissa Gonzalez was announced as President for Lone Star College-Kingwood in Woodlands Online. A Houston Chronicle article also ran this news.  

Dr. Wendy Burns-Ardolino was announced as UHD’s new Dean of the College of Humanities & Social Sciences in the Chronicle of Higher Education.
