Oct. 2: Dr. Kevin Buckler, associate professor of criminal justice, discussed the recent Las Vegas shootings on Houston Public Media's "Houston Matters."

Oct. 2: Former UHD police chief Richard Boyle announced his retirement from the Galveston Police Department in an article in the Galveston County Daily News.

Oct. 1: Student Reavelyn Pray was featured in a recent edition of Study Breaks.

Sept. 29: UHD students were mentioned in a Houston Chronicle article on a research collaboration with UH focused on water contamination following Harvey.
