UHD, H-E-B Host Vaccination Clinic Tuesday, April 19
The University of Houston-Downtown and H-E-B are hosting a COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic for the public and UHD Community 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19.
Register online to receive one of the following vaccines:
- Pfizer
- Moderna
- Johnson & Johnson
- Shingles (recommended for ages 50+)
When you register online, be sure to document which vaccine you want in parentheses after your first or last name. {Ex. John (Pfizer booster)} for us to identify which vaccine you need.
Important Reminders
- You must complete a paper copy of the Vaccine Administration Consent Form prior to your appointment. If you do not have access to a printer, forms will be provided. English Form | Spanish Form
- Everyone must bring their pharmacy and medical insurance cards (if insured).
- Bring an identification card that matches your appointment name.
- Wear a mask during your immunization.
- Bring your COVID-19 vaccine record if your appointment is for an additional dose or booster.
- Boosters must be administered no earlier than 5 months from the second dose in primary series for Pfizer and Moderna, and no earlier than 2 months for J&J. Second boosters are recommended for those 50 years and older, immunocompromised patients, and patients 18+ who received J&J vaccine for both the primary and booster dose. Third boosters are recommended for immunocompromised persons only.
- If you received your first dose somewhere other than H-E-B, please be sure to indicate the manufacturer and date of your first dose when completing your registration. If your first dose was with H-E-B, you will be auto-scheduled for your second dose.
- Shingles is recommended for persons over 50 years and older only. Verify with your insurance provider in advance as to whether or not you will have a copay.
- Parking is free for 0 to 30 minutes in our Visitor Parking | 201 Girard Street Houston, TX 77002. Must show appointment confirmation upon exit. After 31 minutes you will be charged a flat rate of $5.

For your convenience, the Curative testing kiosk outside the Jesse H. Jones Student Life Center is still open seven days a week from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. and free of charge. Proof of insurance and identification are required. Register for an appointment online.
