The UHD flag now hangs proudly at J. Frank Dobie High School in south Houston to commemorate the recruitment of several Dobie students by the UHD powerlifting team.

Powerlifting coach John Hudson, along with the UHD recruits from Dobie, presented the flag to Dobie principal Mr. Moses in front of school faculty and staff.
