UHD ranked third among 55 other higher education institutions throughout the United States. The cybersecurity courses are offered online as part of UHD’s Master of Security Management (MSM) program.
Cyber Degrees EDU is an independent educational organization that analyzes college cybersecurity programs nationwide and rates them according to affordability and variety of interactive courses that prepare students for real-world situations in the career field.
“The goal of our program is to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to address the continuously changing cybersecurity and global security environment,” said Dr. Marilyn Dement, Assistant Director of Graduate Studies.
In UHD’s MSM program, students are versed on identifying threats, making risk assessments and implementing risk-based security plans.
“The MSM degree is designed to better prepare managers to reduce the risk to organizations whether they are cyber threats or traditional criminal activity,” Dement said.
