UHD Community Invited To Creative Writing Faculty Reading March 30
Celebrating The Talents Of Daniel Peña, Anthony Sutton, & Stalina Villarreal

The College of Humanities & Social Sciences’ Department of English and the Cultural Enrichment Center are hosting another Creative Writing Faculty Reading, 4 p.m., Wednesday, March 30, in the Welcome Center TDECU Tour Room.
“Anthony Sutton, Daniel Peña, and Stalina Villarreal are all extraordinarily accomplished writers who bring to their classes not only their own great talents, but their enthusiasm for the work our students do,” said Dr. Jane Creighton, Professor of English.
This in-person event features three faculty members from the Department of English:
- Daniel Peña, Associate Professor of English
- Anthony Sutton, Adjunct Professor of English
- Stalina Villarreal, Assistant Professor of Creative Writing
“We have terrific faculty who will share their thrilling words,” said Dr. Stalina Villarreal, UHD Assistant Professor of English. “We look forward to the UHD Community joining us to listen and appreciate great literature.”
