UHD is co-sponsoring the 40th Annual Buffalo Bayou Regatta, a 15-mile paddling experience from San Felipe and Voss to downtown's Sesquicentennial Park, Saturday, March 10.

This American Canoe Association (ACA) sanctioned race begins at 9 a.m. with finish line festivities, including live music, awards ceremony, food and drink, will last from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. UHD faculty, staff and students are invited to Sesquicentennial Park to enjoy the fun.

Also, Captains Spencer Lightsy and Karen Alfaro are looking for participants to help man the university's five boats.
