For the third consecutive year, the UHD Offices of Admissions and Veterans Services sponsored the annual Impact-A-Hero 5K Walk and Run in Sugar Land, TX on June 2.

A team of about 20 UHD faculty, staff and family members also participated in the race. Team members Sam Mazzu and Bruce Greer, instrument tech with Sciences and Technology, finished third and fourth respectively in their age groups. The event drew 2,300 participants.
