UHD Celebrating The Investiture Of President Loren J. Blanchard Tuesday
The University of Houston-Downtown will welcome distinguished guests and dignitaries to Houston and our campus to celebrate the Investiture of President Loren J. Blanchard tomorrow.
The day’s events will begin with the formal Investiture Ceremony at 10 a.m. at the Wortham Center Theater. Please attend in person as your schedule allows or view online via livestream. The event will be followed by a lunch celebration at noon in the Special Events Center, Room A300. RSVPs for the events are closed.
In the evening, special guests and supporters of the University will gather for the UHD Alumni & Friends Celebration to honor outstanding graduates who have made a remarkable impact and those supporters of the University who feel a special call to move UHD forward. Proceeds from the event will benefit UHD’s Compass Points Fund, which invests in the success of UHD students guided by the University’s Institutional Compass.
