This week, the University of Houston-Downtown is celebrating high school seniors who have set their sights on higher education and hopefully become future Gators when they announce their plans on GenTX Decision Day on Monday, May 3.

As students take their next steps toward making their mark, UHD and other communities across Texas have come together to applaud their successes and support them as they pursue higher education opportunities.

UHD is spreading the word this week about GenTX through messaging and video on its social media platforms through its Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages, so be sure to join us and send congratulatory messages of your own using the hashtag #GenTXUHD.

In addition, UHD’s Office of Enrollment Management is providing area high schools with UHD promotional items and is also planning a yard sign distribution event next week where newly admitted First Time In College (FTIC) students will have the opportunity to drive through campus and pick up a congratulatory sign.
