The downtown skyline will appear a bit clearer from the University of Houston-Downtown's One Main, Academic and Girard Street Buildings .

Starting this weekend, UHD's historic structure will undergo a massive window washing project. Faculty and staff should expect to see workers and equipment outside of their windows. The project will begin on Saturday, July 10 and is expected to be completed by Aug. 23.

Additionally, the exterior of the One Main Building will receive a fresh coat of paint this summer. The massive exterior painting project will contunue through this year and is scheduled to be finished by June 2022.
