UH System Board of Regents Elects New Officers

The Board of Regents of the University of Houston System has elected officers for the upcoming academic year. Chancellor Khator made the announcement in a recent system-wide email address.

"I offer my congratulations to Tillman J. Fertitta, who will serve as chairman. He replaces Jarvis V. Hollingsworth, who deserves our deepest gratitude for the inspired leadership and prudent guidance he supplied during his tenure. Welcome W. Wilson Jr. moves into the role of vice chairman and Beth Madison will serve as secretary.

"I am confident our new officers and the board will continue to provide the vision and direction that have allowed our universities to flourish," she wrote.
