Texas Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst Visits UHD Campus

Texas Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst visited the UHD campus today and met with students, UH System Chair Nelda Blair, President Bill Flores, Provost Brian Chapman and David Bradley, vice president for Administration and Finance. While on campus, he spoke to Associate Professor David Branham's political science class and toured the science labs of Professor Byron Christmas and Associate Professor Ken Johnson. Dr. Flores and other administrators discussed UHD's deficit of lab space with Dewhurst and shared with him the need to accommodate the growing student body in the College of Sciences and Technology.
