Summer 2021 Fitness: YOGA Chair Workshop June 28

UHD Sports & Fitness is hosting the Yoga Chair Workshop on Monday, June 28, 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in the One Main Building’s Milam/Travis Room.

This beginner friendly workshop (taught by UHD’s Dr. Laura Mitchell, Associate Professor of Bilingual Education) teaches how to build strength and flexibility through a chair yoga asana practice—all levels are welcomed. Register today.

The Jesse H. Jones Student Life Center is now open for faculty and staff wishing to get a workout during their lunch break, they can now access the showers to freshen up before returning to work. The Center’s basketball courts also are open for competitive basketball engagement one-on-one or five-on-five.
