Study Abroad in China This Summer
Are you interested in traveling to China, exploring historical sites and experiencing Chinese culture? If so, consider joining the summer 2014 study abroad trip to Beijing and Shanghai, China May 22 to June 3.
Faculty, staff, students, alumni and spouses are invited to travel and explore China for 13 days. The trip will include visits to businesses, universities, and cultural and historical sites, including the Forbidden City, Tienanmen Square, the Great Wall of China and Shanghai Financial Center. Participants will also be able to interact with US and Chinese students and attend the first ever US-China Student Summit in Beijing. (Watch a short video here - www.chinastudentsummit.org)
UHD students can also earn UHD course credit by enrolling in BA 4390: US-China Relations (Summer 1). There are no course prerequisites and it can be taken for international experience or electives.
The cost of the program is $3,985, but a Visa and personal expenses are not included. Scholarships are available to students - $1,500 from UHD and $1,000 from the Summit. Applicants are needed. For more information, contact Anisul Islam, finance professor, at email@example.com.
