Students Enjoy Cap and Gown Receptions Saturday
Student Success and the Office of Advancement once again hosted the Cap and Gown Receptions to honor graduation candidates May 3.
During the reception, graduation candidates were informally inducted as alumni, learned about becoming involved former students, received information about commencement, picked up their caps and gowns, and enjoyed light refreshments.
There were two receptions to accommodate the nearly 1,000 seniors expected to graduate this spring. The first honored graduates from the College of Sciences and Technology, University College and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. The second reception was for students from the College of Public Service and the College of Business.
