Students Encouraged to Attend Jobs for Gators Virtual Fair Aug. 6

UHD students interested in working for campus departments and offices are invited to attend the Jobs for Gators Virtual Fair from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thurs., August 6.

The fair, hosted by the Main Career Center (formerly UHD Career Development Center) and UHD Sports & Fitness, is designed for students eligible for Federal Work Study, Texas Work Study and part-time, non-college work study. University departments will share information via Zoom about their offices, the variety of positions they have available and the application process.

Students are encouraged to have a digital resume in a Word or PDF format in case they are recommended to apply for a job listed on UHD’s career website.

Last year, more than 200 students attended the inaugural event and although the format is different this year, it provides an excellent opportunity for students to network and potentially be hired for employment.

To attend the event, you must register here. For more information, contact the Main Career Center at 713-221-8980.
