Student Volunteers Needed at UH-System 'Day at the Capitol,' Feb. 23

On Monday, February 23, 2015, student volunteers will join alumni, faculty, university leaders and community supporters traveling to Austin, Texas to meet with legislators and their associates at the state Capitol. UHS Day at the Capitol is a biennial opportunity for the University of Houston System to raise awareness about the great things happening at the universities, and to maximize the system's state funding.

UHD needs the support of students who are interested in showing their Gator pride and becoming a part of UHD history. Applications are available online. Seating is limited to 50 students.

Deadline to register to represent the University of Houston-Downtown.

Feb. 6, 2015
