During UHD's signature Ed's Bayou Clean Up event last Friday, Nov. 8, student groups gathered to clean up the campus and areas around Buffalo Bayou.

Participating groups included the South Asian Student Association, Black Student Association, Chemistry Club, Health Professions Organization, Math Club, Environmental Club, Success and the College Success Program. Many students not associated with clubs also attended and in total, nearly 60 students logged approximately 205 volunteer hours beautifying UHD.

The event was sponsored by the UHD Student Government Association's Sustainability Committee.
