Student Counseling Services Hosts Grief & Loss Webinar on April 21

The University of Houston-Downtown's Student Counseling Services will host a webinar titled "Grief and Loss: The Unique Journey and How to Move Through It" on Wednesday, April 21 at 12 p.m.

Student Counseling Services invites the Gator Community to join the conversation. A representative from Bo’s Place will be present to speak about grief and loss. Bo's Place is a local nonprofit organization that offers multiple grief support services for adults, children and families, and provides education and resources for those who assist people in grief.

Aspects of the webinar will include what grief is, how it manifests, and how to get through it. Additionally, participants will learn what to say and what not to say to better support those who are experiencing grief.

This webinar serves as an opportunity to ask questions in a safe, confidential space. Participants may also submit questions anonymously during the registration process. RSVP online.
