Sports & Fitness’ Upcoming Workshop April 26

Ever wondered about plant-based nutrition? UHD Sports & Fitness is hosting a workshop to answer all your questions.

Get the facts about incorporating the plant-based foods into your diet with the Plant Based Nutrition workshop 1 – 2 p.m., Monday, April 26. Learn ‘how much plant-based protein do I need?’ or ‘how can I make sure I am eating the right balance of foods?’ Register today to receive the meeting passcode.

For the remaining of the Spring 2021 semester, S&F will continue its virtual aerobics classes online. Also, look for future announcements of in-person classes on the S&F website.

Sports & Fitness gradual reopening of the Jesse H. Jones Student Life Center began on April 19 with modified hours Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and with modified programming. The University Community—including active students, faculty and staff—may work out during operating hours while adhering to current safety policies including wearing a face mask, respecting a six-foot social distance from other patrons and frequently washing/sanitizing hands. To note, some Student Life Center services will not be available, but are expected to return by Fall 2021 including locker usage, showers, competitive open recreation sports (basketball) and club sports engagement.
