By Sheryl E. Taylor

UHD Sports & Fitness invites the Gator Community to a nutrition workshop, a 28-day Walk Challenge and the annual Zumba Valentine’s Dance Party.

It’s known that walking has a number of benefits—maintaining a healthy weight, prevents or manages various conditions (heart disease, Type-2 Diabetes, high blood pressure), strengthens bones and improves mood. During this virtual challenge, participants will receive daily tips to stay on track, encouraged to share their results and tag Sports & Fitness on Instagram at #UHDsportsandfitness to be entered in a prize giveaway. Sign up for the 21-Day Walking Challenge here.

Wear your best red, pink, hearts and flowers for Sports & Fitness’s Zumba Valentine’s Party 4 - 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11. Replace your sweets for sweat for 90 minutes of dancing for an exhilarating workout—all fitness levels are welcomed. Be sure to take plenty of pictures. Random drawings will be held for prize giveaways. Join via Zoom.

Don’t forget UHD Sports & Fitness hosts a variety of ways to get fit—from Aerobics to Zumba!
