Parents, if your kids enjoy cheering or if you're looking for a few hours of child-free shopping time this weekend, consider enrolling them in the UHD Holiday Cheer Clinic from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at the Student Life Center. A "cheer showcase" for parents will be at 1 p.m.

Children 4 years and older are invited to participate in a fun day of cheering, tumbling and stunting. Participants will receive a clinic t-shirt, snack and an invitation to perform at a UHD club basketball game in Spring 2012.

Registration is $25 per child. To RSVP, call 713-221-5020 and provide the participants' names, ages and T-shirt sizes.

(Teams with 10 or more paid participants will receive two free clinic scholarships to be distributed upon coach's discretion.)
